Alana De La Garza, an outstanding actress who is a legend in the world of television. In 1976 De La Garza was born to a Mexican-American father as well as an Irish-American mom in Columbus Ohio. In no time she moved to Texas where she pursued a medical therapy training at University of Texas. De La Garza did not stay in Texas for long. She soon transferred to Orlando Florida, where she took on a number of performances as an actor. These included independent local films and commercials. Even though she was only able to fill small parts, she soon discovered her passion for acting. She moved in New York and in 2001 she landed her first part on the daytime soap show All My Children as Rosa Santos. The actress had a few roles on JAG The Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men at the beginning of 2000. Her first major part came in 2004's short comedy The Mountain. De La Garza played Maria Serrano as well as some of the greatest TV actors, including Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pileggi, and Mitch Pilegge. She portrayed A.D.A. in Law & Order in which her most memorable performance was from the year 2006. Connie Rubirosa. The actress was on the show for 85 episodes. Her most current TV work was on NBC's dramatic dark thriller Do No Harm as Dr. Lena Solis. It was put on hold after two seasons. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. The actress is an ethnically-mixed woman of Italian origin and is the younger sister of Cory who is ten years older than her. The family she was raised in was a religious and conservative family. Milano's career began at age seven, the time her babysitter drove the girl to an audition. Milano was among four girls selected from among over 1,000 hopefuls. Milano made appearances in adverts in both Broadway and on TV, including the American musical version of Jane Eyre.
